Conducting your own Personal REVOLUTION and assuring that everyone ELSE around you is taken care of is EXHAUSTING, and can be very STRESSFUL.

In Week 3, we'll focus on how to consistently set aside some dedicated time for yourself to prevent burnout and maintain your momentum.

INTENTION CHALLENGE

This week’s Intention Challenge is to take a few moments for SELF-CARE in the midst of your busy week.  It doesn’t have to be ELABORATE or overly TIME CONSUMING.  Just a little BREATHER, a SLOW-DOWN that recharges and refreshes you.  Make this activity something that you find a little time to do on a REGULAR basis, either weekly or bi-weekly so that you have something to look FORWARD to that helps you relax.

Look at your SCHEDULE for the week and find a time that you can SHIFT something around a bit in order to make time for your chosen Self-Care Activity.  Again, it does NOT have to take a chunk of time from your day, just something that helps you shut OFF the world and RECHARGE.

Self-Care MATTERS

Committing to a health and fitness routine and personal revolution does add time-consuming activities to your already busy life. Although these things are BEYOND necessary to keep your body, mind, and spirit functioning at optimal levels, the beginning phases of changing your life, even for the better, can make your day-to-day seem overwhelming.

All of THIS is the PERFECT RECIPE for STRESS.

Taking a few moments to UNWIND, EXHALE and  step back from all the activity is VITAL to your mental health, to you STICKING to your goals, CONQUERING your day to day responsibilities AND being in the right MINDSET as you spend time with those you love. 

Taking a few moments for YOU can assure that you approach your LIFE and everyone around you armed with POSITIVITY!

Make Self-Care HAPPEN!

Whether it’s sitting down with a cup of tea, popping in your headphones for a few moments with a blanket on the couch, getting a massage or escaping to an afternoon movie, do SOMETHING for YOU this week that allows you some PEACE, RECHARGES your soul. 

YES you are busy, YES you need to do SO many things for OTHERS, YES taking a few moments seems IMPOSSIBLE.  But if YOU do not take care of YOU, you are MUCH less EFFECTIVE in ALL that you do.  You MUST recharge and reset in order to be your BEST for yourself AND for everyone around you!  No matter if it’s a few moments or a few hours, you will EMERGE MUCH happier, MUCH calmer, and a MUCH more loving individual who finds LONG TERM success.

This week we are CONTINUING our Fitness Challenge Workouts!

Take your WEEK TWO Results and work to add ONE or TWO more reps to last week’s totals.

If you can not add those additional reps within the 60-second time frame, no worries!!! Take a little extra time to get at least one more rep on each exercise than you did last week.

CHALLENGE FITNESS ASSESSMENT

For this Fitness Assessment, you will chart how many of each of the following exercises you can complete in 60 seconds.

You are not competing against ANYONE except yourself, so HAVE FUN, stay SAFE, and listen to your body at all times!

It does NOT matter if the number you finish is ONE or TWO or 1/2 of a Repetition! It is a START and THAT is all that MATTERS, that YOU are STARTING something to IMPROVE yourself, improve your HEALTH, and improve your LIFE!

Post on the Resolution Reboot Challenge Group Facebook Page and your Personal Social Media including at least ONE if not ALL of the following. 

Post ONLY whatever YOU are comfortable sharing.
